Heather’s cookie business is
taking off and she has received numerous accolades for her cakes
as well. Her husband, Kyle is working strong with AT&T and
was ranked among the highest in sales last quarter throughout
South Texas. They would love your prayers as they seek to become
parents
in the near future. Katie,
our college girl, is embracing life on her own. She attends
school and works full-time. I love the fact that everyone who
knows her loves her. Katie is a great encourager as well
as a straight
shooter – she tells it like it is, but in a very diplomatic
way… well, most of the time. Sammie
continues to play golf in tournaments and with his Dad. They
make a great team on and off the course. His love for percussion
has led him to score “1’s” in UIL competition
and fills our house with great sounds every evening… really,
I love his drumming. It might be different if he didn’t
have rhythm, luckily we are blessed that he does. I
have scheduled my first Live Powerfully Now! It’s a community
empowerment seminar, that is geared as an “in” and
outreach program. Attendees from inside and outside the church
will benefit from this seminar, I’d love to present it
in your community. See the home page for more details.
My
husband, Sam and I are working hard together to discover
all that God has planned for this season of our lives.
I feel blessed
to have him by my side. Sam is such an encourager and supporter
of our mission, ministry, and of me personally. I’d love
for him to travel with me as I speak, one day, God willing. I
mentioned above about Shawn and Betty’s three children,
Valerie, Tristan, and Trinity. They are wonderful, unique, and
full of energy… I wouldn’t have it any other way. I
love the time we spend together, and I so enjoy their individuality.
I pray God will grow them in such a way that they will make a positive
impact on lives around them and I thank God for allowing me the
opportunity to experience them in my life right now… it
reminds me to come before Him as His child, not as someone who
knows it
all. I love to learn at His feet and I pray, my grandchildren
will love to sit with me as I share His love for us and His plan
for
our future.
Hugs & Blessings,
Linda
