Parents, grandparents, and their young readers will have a lot to talk about as they move through the thirty-six pages of this seasonal conversation starter.

Everyday life presents us with opportunities to share the truth from God’s word in everyday conversations. Parents and grandparents agree the Lovey Mouse books make those conversations easier.

Both authors offer something for the family to do together in the back pages of the book –they highly recommend the parent, grandparent, or caregiver to read through once, making note of some special talking points throughout the story.

Authors include:

  • Art activity for your child
  • Love Note Starters
  • Fun Seek and Find Activities

A Word to Parents and Caregivers

Read through the story at least one time by yourself to get the feel of it. Kelly and I use everyday life experiences to help our children (and grandchildren) understand God’s word on their level.

You’ll notice several spiritual symbolisms throughout the pages. Jesus praying, the cross reflection in the mirror at the top of the stairs, three crosses on the side of the road during the car scene, “The Easter Story,” book Maw-Maw reads to Fischer and Eliza Jean. And Jesus walking into the sunrise (Son-rise) on Easter morning.

Take the time to point them out as you feel led. Your child may ask you about them depending on his or her age. This can make for very exciting conversation —embrace it.

Blessings —Coach Linda
