Show Description.

Have you experienced humiliation, betrayal, or pain so deep that all you have left emotionally is bitterness?

Today’s guests share the rest of a biblical story to give you hope for redemption beyond your circumstances.

Welcome to Staying Real About Faith & Family.

If you’re looking for a community where you can get real about life without resistance, you’re in the right place. I’m Linda Goldfarb. Each week, Heather Greer, I, and our guests offer personal insight to encourage transparent living from a biblical viewpoint with practical applications. Staying Real with the Holy Spirit’s leading is what we’re all about—we pray today’s episode blesses you.

I’m hosting solo, as Heather is not able to join us, and it’s my pleasure to introduce our guests,

Bestselling authors Miriam Feinberg Vamosh & Eva Marie Everson.

They have teamed up once again to tell a tale of such historical significance that the history of Israel hinges on it. Together, they are the authors of nearly 75 books, countless articles, and blog posts. They are the authors of Reflections Of God’s Holy Land (Thomas Nelson Publishers, 2008). Miriam makes her home in Har Adar, Israel & Eva Marie makes her home in Central Florida.

  • Touring Israel a chance meeting – we think not!

In the show notes, check out the photo Eva Marie mentions taken from inside the Chapel of St. Vartan, which is inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

  • How can an ancient story filled with humiliation, pain, betrayal, and bitterness help women embrace hope beyond their circumstances?

Thought Consideration for today… “Desolation is never God’s Intent. Hope reigns beyond our circumstances.”

I don’t know whether to be encouraged or to have second thought. Several weeks ago after studying Tamars account in my Precept Bible Study, I knew there had to be resolution to her story. I started doing research to write her story. Which means if I do I can’t read the book you discussed until I’ve finished mine- and it’s definitely one I want to read.

    • I believe Father allows what He wills to come into our path. We choose what we do with it. There is nothing new under the sun yet, what you write will not be what is written somewhere else. We all reach different people. Trust Holy spirit to guide you. His way will become clear.
      Blessings, my friend.
